Valley Ranch Islamic Center

The VRIC is family friendly Islamic Center, it's located in the heart of DFW metroplex with access to major highways and DFW airport. The Islamic Center of Irving was established and registered as a non-profit 501C organization in 1991 in the state of Texas, USA. The center had a humble beginning, and has moved from various locations to the current facility. Currently about 800 worshippers attend the weekly Jummah prayer.

We have scheduled two (2) Pre-screening tests on April 9th & May 20th at 9 am at VRIC. In order to qualify for the first pre-screening test date please submit your application by 4/7/2017 Register here: http://www.valleyranchmasjid.org/registration/ Students who wish to enroll in the full-time program would need to take one of the pre-screening test. All students, with the exception of the VRIC Quran School Advanced Students, will go through a pre-screening test. VRIC Elections 2016

VRIC's General Elections will be held on Thursday, February 11th after Isha prayer. It is the responsibility of each and every VRIC member to attend and participate in the process of electing our next Board of Directors and Board of Trustees. Pleas see the below information provided by the Election Committee: 1. How will the election take place? VRIC will use paper ballot with names for the voting process. Voting will be allowed from after Isha prayers on the day of the Election. On the ballot, eligible members can vote for a maximum of 7 BoD nominees and for 3 BoT positions. 2. What ID do I have to show when I vote? Any government issued photo ID; US passport, Driver license, State ID and VRIC membership card (if available). 3. Can you vote via email/absentee voting? Absentee voting or voting via email will start one week before Election Day. The absentee ballot must be given to an election committee members (as a witness) in a sealed envelope. You can also send the ballot via email to ec@valleyranchmasjid.org. Please make sure that you email a picture of your government issued ID as well.

VRIC Annual Fundraiser - Building Our Future Together

VRIC's Annual Fundraiser will be on Saturday, February 6th at 6pm. Tickets are available for purchase at the VRIC website and on-site at VRIC. Tickets will not be sold at the door, so don't delay! Adults: $30 Kids (2-10) : $15 (This is the Babysitting ticket) Family Table of 10: $300 General Instructions: - Kids between the ages of 2-10 are required to go to Babysitting floor i.e. 3rd floor. - Please fill out the Babysitting form and take it with you on the event day. The form is available on the Valley Ranch website. - The parents will also register on the 3rd floor. - People who bought "Family Table of 10 tickets" can take their kids to the ballroom. This would be the only exception to the rule regarding the kids. - Stroller parking is available on 3rd floor (preferred) as well as 4th floor (very few). - Kids under the age of 2 are expected to sit on the parent's lap in the ballroom. - People without kids should come directly to the 4th floor and register in front of the ballroom. - All attendees MUST wear wristbands provided to them at the time of registration in order to get access to the ballroom.
