After graduating from Abu Noor with distinction, he then moved to Yemen, and studied at the famous Dar Al-Mustafa in Tarim, Hadramout where he focused on learning the inner dimensions of Islamic life, knowledge of the soul, and dawah. There, he studied directly under the founder, Shaykh Habib Omar, himself, receiving multiple ijaazaat from him, as well as with some of his top students. He was then permitted to complete his formal education at Azhar University with a BA in Islamic law and ethics, where he studied over 70 Azhari books in the religious sciences.
