Shaykh Imadudeen Abu Hijleh Bio:
Shaykh Imadudeen Abu Hijleh is originally from Palestine and has lived in the U.S for over two decades. He founded the Razi Institute (1992) and many of his students who completed their studies have gone on to start their own institutes of Islamic studies. He has also taught at the MSA at Harvard in Cambridge, Massachusetts and Manchester College in New Hampshire.

Shaykh Imadudeen has studied many classical books in the Shari’ah sciences, such as: Quranic Sciences, Hadith and its’ methodology, Fiqh and its’ methodology, Theology, Spiritualism, and the Seerah. He has received ijazas or “permissions to teach” in these sciences as well as chains of transmissions that trace back to The Prophet Muhammad, (peace be upon him).

Shaykh Imadudeen has authored many books, covering various Islamic topics such as Hadith, Aqidah, Fiqh, Zakat, Fasting, Family Matters, and Spirituality. Some of these books are published and being used as reference for many scholars around the world and (Al Durah Al Baheyah) is translated in english under the name (The Splendid Pearl In Knowing The Muslim’s Individual Obligations) as well as other books under translation. The Shaykh participates in dawah programs in diverse places such as the United States, Singapore, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Jordan, United Arab Emirates and Yemen.
