Your past, future, and the secrets in between: Allah's path for the Modern Muslim woman for forgiveness and moving on.

Asalamualaikum ladies!

Ever felt and pull between sharing secrets and keeping them to yourself? What is the Islamic perspective on what you should keep for your private self versus your public self? How does Allah forgive, and how can we move on from our mistakes and grow/learn from them?Let's talk about it this Wednesday after Maghrib!!

Be sure to invite your friends and get hyped! We cannot wait for this discussion, we hope you all are as excited as we are. (Also, snacks will be provided!)

The Nueces Mosque Sisters' Circle started last September, and is designed for Sisters of all backgrounds to have a comfortable place to chill, talk about what's been on your minds, and make new friends!

Discussions will be led by the knowledgeable Sister Hareem, who previously taught Nueces' "Seerah of the Prophet" class. Ustadhah Hareem Ahmad is a graduate of both Qalam Institute and Bayyinah in Dallas, Texas. She has a degree in Management Science from MIT. After completing her undergrad, she worked in finance for a few years while simultaneously training and competing nationally and internationally in fencing. After retiring from competition in 2013, she pursued Islamic education, first with a year at the Bayyinah Dream program (Arabic), and then spent a year at the Qalam Seminary with Sheikh Abdul Nasir Jangda.
