It's Sisters' Circle this week! Join us October 18th at 5:30 PM for our next topic: Feminism in Islam! Refreshments will also be provided, iA. :)

The discussion circle will in the Mosque every other Wednesday from 5:30-7:15pm, to accommodate for the shift in salat times. We hope to see all of you there!

Discussions will be led by the knowledgeable Sister Hareem, who previously taught Nueces' "Seerah of the Prophet" class. Ustadhah Hareem Ahmad is a graduate from both Qalam Institute and Bayyinah in Dallas, Texas. She has a degree in Management Science from MIT. After completing her undergrad, she worked in finance for a few years while simultaneously training and competing nationally and internationally in fencing. After retiring from competition in 2013, she pursued Islamic education, first with a year at the Bayyinah Dream program (Arabic), and then spent a year at the Qalam Seminary with Sheikh Abdul Nasir Jangda.

A friendly reminder: these discussions are geared towards Sisters ages 17-25! External Event Url
