In honor of Black History Month, join the NIA Masjid & Community Center as we discuss Islam's impact on social justice in America. As we travel through the early years of Islam in America, we will recognize the struggle of our brothers and sisters brought through slavery and highlight the ongoing events of racial and social injustice.

Topics will include:
- Islam in America by Imam Daud Haqq
- Malcolm X and the Civil Rights Movement: How the tradition of Malcolm X is still relevant today by Imam Muhammad Jaaber
- The Intersection of Islamophobia & #BlackLivesMatter by Tariq Touré
- The Plight of Muslims in the Prison System by Dr. Bahiyyah Muhammad
