Youth Speakers Club - First session
Hamzah Masjid in collaboration with Hamzah Science Academy is starting a new Speakers program for our youth. This program is for all middle and high school goers and for both girls and boys.
Program Start Date: July 20th, 2017.
Schedule: Members will meet weekly on every Thursday between 6:45 PM - 8:00 PM.
Fee: $60 for six months + $20, one-time fee for two Toastmaster Manuals.

This program will follow the guidelines, structure and official manuals of a Toastmasters club. Those who don't know, Toastmaster is a renowned organization with millions of members worldwide. Organization's sole purpose is to help people in public speaking, better communication, and Leadership skills.
Meraj Beg will be the instructor.
Meraj has been a member of Toastmasters for 3+ years and currently, serving as a Vice President of Education in my club. Last December, he had an opportunity to compete in a humorous speech contest. Alhamdulillah, Meraj went on winning the contest all the way first on the club level then Area then Division and then the District. In the end, he finished in 3rd place, as the best speaker, at the GA state level. This journey taught me an experience, which was invaluable.
The goal of this new program is to help our youth to become a confident communicator and a public speaker. Youth Club will provide them the platform, where they will learn how to write and package their speeches, use proper grammar, avoid Ahs, Umms, and many good things about public speaking and communication. They will be able to practice speaking, evaluate speeches and learn to listen.
