Dalia Mogahed, former adviser to President Obama and current Director of Research at the Institute for Social Policy and Understanding (ISPU), will deliver a talk pertaining to how fearing Islam is harmful to all.

This lecture is FREE and open to the general public.

The lecture will take place in the UAB HILL STUDENT CENTER BALLROOM.

Mogahed has co-authored the book "Who Speaks for Islam? What a Billion Muslims Really Think" with John Esposito and is an expert commenter about Islam on media outlets globally. Arabian Business magazine recognized Mogahed in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 as one of the most influential Arab women, and The Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Centre included Mogahed in its 2009 and 2010 lists of the 500 most influential Muslims.
