Masjid Ikhlas is excited to announce our collaboration with the African Community Center in the resettlement of refugee families coming from war-torn countries like Burma, Syria, Afghanistan, and Iraq who are very much in need and are re-settling in our community! But we need volunteers and need your help!

For this reason, you are all invited to a special "refugee resettlement volunteer training and information session" at Masjid Ikhlas this Friday, December 11 starting with dinner at 7:00 pm (see agenda below). Dinner we be provided and we ask that anyone interested in singing up for the volunteer program bring an ID and a credit card to pay the $6.85 for the background check fee. **Also feel free bring any interested friends and family.

Volunteers are needed for a variety of tasks including helping in the welcoming process, organizing donations, furnishing apartments, providing transportation services and so many more.
