Rohingya Donation Pack n Drop
Asalaam Alaikum wa rahmatuallahi wa barakatu! Alhumdillah we were able to collect lots of winter clothing and supplies for the refugee Rohingya Muslims! Now we just need to get our collections to the drop off point for the container shipment. So we need volunteers to load the truck with us. If you weren’t able to donate then please donate your time giving back! Please contact Sr Letitia at 350-672-5761 if you would like to help out. We will start loading after Isha Prayer! Community Meeting

This is an opportunity for everyone in the community to know what's going on at MCC as well as the opportunity for all members of the community to voice their concerns and share ideas. Pre- Ramadan Workshop!!!
Come hear The Commentary on The Book of Fasting, The Book of Tarāwīḥ Prayer, The Book of Superiority of The Night of The Decree and The Book of Secluding & Confining Ones’ Self in The Masjid by Shaykh Akram Mohammed Ziyadeh Lectures will take place from 6:30pm until insha prayer Tuesday - Saturday.* On Friday May 19th, at Asr a special lecture entitled Ramadan On Saturday May 20th, lecture will begin from Zuhr prayer until Insha Prayer. Get your Ramadan started off right. This is going to be an event you don't want to miss!

Higher Education Process Informational Workshop
Needing guidance on the process of applying to college or navigating resources? Are you unsure how to apply for federal funds or scholarships? This workshop will be right for you. Targeted towards helping refugee students in 9th-12th grade, we will go over basic steps to take for preparation post-high school. The workshop will be lead by April Sanders-Aboulila, M.S. who works at the University of Utah in a faculty and staff capacity. The Muslim Student Association at the University of Utah will also be present to help. So come join us at the Muslim Community Center on February 4th at 3 pm until 5 pm. MCC School Assembly
MCC Sunday School will have presentations on Islamic topics from students on December 18th from 12:15 and will end with Dhuhr prayer at 1:30 pm. Community members and Parents are encouraged to attend and support! Insha Allah we will see you there.

Open House: Muslim Community Center, Utah
We invite you to stop by our Open House and casually learn about your fellow citizen Muslims in Utah. Food, snacks, and drinks will be provided. You're welcome at any time during the event and we are happy to answer any questions or curiosities you have about Muslims. The event is open to anyone, families, friends, and colleagues. There is no required dress code and modesty is encouraged. This event will be an opportunity to introduce our activities as well as our commitment towards the community of Salt Lake City and Utah. Our center has opened its doors in June 2014 and has grown to represent a dynamic and inclusive meeting point for many members of the Muslim community in Utah.
