Bringing Muslim & Buddhist Youth Together

We're having an event to bring Muslim youth and Buddhist youth together, in order to dispel any myths or misunderstandings that may have been created by the media. This event is designed to bring the two groups together to better understand one another. The event is this Sunday, January 14th at the masjid from 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM. We would like to encourage youth representatives (ages 9 - 19) from our community attend this event. Adults are welcome to attend as well. Please confirm attendance by January 13th.

Women’s Halaqa!

InshaAllah we will have our next halaqa/dikr gathering on November 18th at the masjid. Please note that this halaqa will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. InshaAllah we will have a potluck lunch after the halaqa and duhr prayer. Feel free to join us, bring food to share, and spread the word!

Fajr Women's Halaqa

Please join us for our next women's halaqa gathering, which will be after fajr prayer. The halaqa will be about the life of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW), and it will last for approximately a half an hour, after which we will pray the ishraq (duha) prayer. The halaqa is for women only. A potluck breakfast will follow, so please bring food to share. Men are welcome to join in this portion of the event. :)

Silent Demonstration: Franklin Graham 50-State Tour

Franklin Graham is a right-wing evangelical who preaches intolerance for many people, including Muslims. A number of Christian clery are planning to provide an alternative to his message, including silently holding signs that refer to Christian tolerance, compassion and love. Please join MAH as we offer our support by silently demonstrating that the Aloha State is not about hate.
