Initially started from a dozen Indonesian-Americans in the Washington DC area, raising their concern on balancing the horizontal achievement and vertical relationship of their future generation. Then, on December 21st, 1993, IMAAM, Indonesian Muslim Association in America, was established and registered in the state of Maryland as a Religious Non-Profit Organization. The principles set by our founders reflect to the breath of our corporate values. We strive to provide a house of worship, not only to gain spiritual nourishment but also to empower oneself to achieve his/her goals and dreams.

Shepherd's Table Volunteering Brunch Service to the Homeless

Hi everyone, We continue our partnership with Shepherd's Table this month with another volunteer visit on Sunday February 19, 2017. For the kitchen and meal prep/serve, here are the guidelines: - volunteers who are 14 years and up. - be there by 9 AM, go towards the back of the building. - wear closed toe shoes and loose fitting attire - be respectful and professional at all times and bring your open heart and spirit (you will directly interact with the clients at Shepherd's Table) - be prepared to work (you will help set up, serve food, and clean up). **If you commit yourself to go by clicking "yes", then please do go and let us know how many in your group or let us know if you can't. Open communication is essential to ensure that we get, at least, the minimum of 12 volunteers helping out.** Let's extend our hand to our fellow brothers and sisters at Shepherd's Table. May God bless all our efforts, however big or small, to uplift our fellow man. See you on Sunday, 2/159, God willing. Thank you!
