2nd Annual Community Dinner
We at the Islamic Center of Wheaton look forward to you joining us for our 2nd Annual Community Dinner. This gathering is an incredible opportunity to strengthen our understanding of each other on the journey of Faith, Peace, and Complementary services to the community.
Recent poll indicates that more than half of Americans say they have unfavorable views of Islam, and six in 10 either aren't interested or don't know whether they want to learn more about the faith, according to a new poll. Younger Americans are the ones who are most likely to have positive views on Islam, be interested in learning about the religion and have Muslim friends.
This is precisely the reason why Islamic Center of Wheaton (ICW) is hosting "Community Iftar dinner, to all our friends and neighbors of other faith. This is a great opportunity to address any negative notions that are prevalent about Islam nowadays and to show our hospitality.
