The Islamic Center East Lansing, Haslett Community Church and the University Lutheran Church are pleased to host an informational presentation on “going solar”. Whether for a home-based project or a larger institutional system, photovoltaic panels provide renewable energy to advance us to a green future. This one-hour presentation will include information about recent photovoltaic installations in the greater Lansing area, names of current installers who are active in the area, and can install systems for $3/Watt or less. Attendees will learn how home-based systems are eligible for a 30% federal tax credit to help pay for the solar project.
Refreshments will be provided.
This series is organized by Solarize Meridian, the Green Teams of the Islamic Center East Lansing, Haslett Community Church, University Lutheran Church and Michigan Interfaith Power & Light.
