This panel tackles common issues that modern day women face through a Q&A style dialogue. We will have two outstanding women Mona Eldadah: Mother & Non-profit founder and Wardah Khalid writer, and analyst on U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East and Muslim American issues.

1. Wardah Khalid is a writer, speaker, and analyst on U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East and Muslim American issues. She currently works as a Media Associate for Church World Service's Immigration and Refugee Program and is co-founder and president of Poligon Education Fund, a non-partisan organization strengthening Muslim engagement with Congress. Wardah's writing and commentary has been featured in outlets including the Washington Post, CNN, The Guardian, NPR, and US News & World Report. She regularly speaks in person and on television about foreign affairs, civic and political engagement, and Islam.
Wardah is a CPA and holds a Masters in International Affairs from Columbia University and received a BBA and MS in Accounting from Texas A&M University.



2. Mona Rahnama Eldadah is most grateful to be the mother of four children. In a desire to see more relevant, religious programming focused on American-Muslims she (with a group of like-minded families) co-founded the non-profit organization NWMI - Next Wave Muslim Initiative. Through this organization, she serves as the founder and director of Camp Ramadan, a summer camp for Muslim youth. In addition, for nearly two decades she has taught Arabic and religion at the local Sunday School--- the Islamic School of Potomac. External Event Url
