This film, "It's Better to Jump" has been chosen to be shown at numerous film festivals in the U.S. and abroad, including the Boston film festival. It has won many awards including the Golden Lion Award at the Barcelona (Spain) film festival. It was described by the Film Journal International as "...undeniably moving and true."

The film is a sensitive examination of the joys and pains of the Palestinian Israeli citizens of the ancient city know as both Akka and Acre, 30 km north of Haifa. This is a stunningly beautiful "World Heritage" listed city that has been continuously inhabited for almost 4000 years. However, the nature of its future is now quite uncertain. The title "It's Better to Jump" is a reference to both the right of passage of young people choosing to jump from the massive ancient sea walls into the Mediterranean far below, and it is a metaphor for the pressures upon its citizens to decide how to respond to proposed changes in the city. The cinematography is magnificent and the interviews with persons from all walks of life are moving, insightful and prophetic.
