The Bangor Islamic Centre was built by students of the University in 1981. First prayers in the mosque was on 1st Feb 1982. The Centre was then expanded by the students and local residents in 1985 and 1997 to become double its original size. The Centre is open for the five daily prayers and public visits by arrangement.

We would like to invite you all to our interfaith day of prayer at neaudd rathborne meeting room on college road- Bangor university. By the joint efforts of the local faith leaders in Bangor and BIC, an afternoon of contemplation and understanding of the various faiths has been organised at the start of interfaith week 2017. The aim of the event will be to improve our communal relationship between both faith and non faith organisations, by interacting and sharing our common goal of serving the needs of mankind. Arabic Language Course

REE ARABIC LANGUAGE COURSE We would like to announce the beginning of the Arabic Language Course which is sponsored by Bangor Islamic Society.
