Pakistan cricketing legend, Wasim Akram is set to team up with Islamic Relief to help rebuild lives in Pakistan, following last year’s devastating floods.

The highest wicket-taker in the one day game will join Islamic Relief for exclusive fundraising dinners in London on 9th July and Bradford on 24th July.

As well as an interview and open question and answer session with Wasim Akram, there shall be live entertainment with quwali group, Sufi Touch and lots more!

The dinners are to support Islamic Relief’s extensive £30 Million reconstruction programme in Pakistan to rebuild 60 villages with:

- Flood and earthquake resistant houses built to UN standards
- Flood resistant water system to provide fresh, clean water to all households
- Extensive drainage system to help prevent future flooding
- Health clinic
- School refurbishment
- Essential household items for all familiesAgriculture kits with seeds, tools and livestock

6 villages have been completed and a further 15 are currently under construction.
