* Over 10 million Egyptians are unable to meet their basic daily food needs
* The recent uprising in January and February pushed many Egyptians deeper into difficulty.

Islamic Relief has worked in Egypt for a decade, but we have recently increased our efforts in the face of increasing need in the wake of the recent political upheaval.
