“… And they (the believers) feed, for the love of Allah (swt), the indigent (and) the orphan … ” (Al Quran).

Islamic Relief USA is calling for volunteers to help feed our neighbors in need at the Giving Grain Food Pantry on January 19, and to help us collect food items as part of our food drive with the Arlington Food Assistance Center in Northern Virginia.

So, join us on January 19—the National Day of Service—to help our community members and to commemorate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. All over the country, interfaith communities are galvanizing volunteers to help faith-based organizations further their mission to serve those in need. And we at Islamic Relief USA are doing the same!

Here is the breakdown of the volunteer opportunities on January 19—please note: Volunteers must be 18 years old or older. Younger volunteers must be accompanied by a guardian.
