A Muslim’s commitment to civic engagement which includes volunteerism, voting, and other forms of participation in the democratic process is imperative in the midst of a polarized and heated election season in which Muslims are frequent subjects of national debate.
This non-partisan civic education event will explore how to navigate the current political climate in our community. Also how to address Islamophobia and anti-Muslim rhetoric with our neighbors, co-workers and citizens. It will go beyond the basics and actually give us all tangible advice on how to discuss this issue and really start building bridges.
The Muslim vote in today’s climate is a must! Join us and our wonderful panel of speakers to learn more about this crucial topic!
