'An Inspirational Event with Sister Asmaa Hussein to raise funds and assist Women Entrepreneurship & Initiatives'
"A trained social worker and mother, Sister Asmaa Hussein's husband Amr Kassem was shot and killed by a sniper in Egypt in August 2013. Sister Asmaa is coming to Houston to tell her story. Her talk will describe how to pick yourself up after you've suffered through difficult times, and how we can all help our Muslim Sisters back up after they have endured similar trials."
We will also have Shaykh Gyasi McKinzie, a Graduate of the Islamic University of Medinah and a well known international and national speaker.
