OCIF Ladies Brunch

"An opportunity to give back to your community" In February our community wonderful ladies met to show their support to OCIF Womem Committee. We had around 65 women joined that day. They had the chance to know each other, socialize and enjoyed delicious food together. They also shared and brainstormed many ideas. OCIF, Pillars Academy & PAWS Spring Community Potluck

OCIF, PAWS and Pillars Academy will be holding a potluck on Saturday, April 9th at Florence Joyner Olympiad Park, at 22760 Olympiad Rd, Mission Viejo, CA 92692 at 1:30pm. Please bring a dish that can feed at least 8 people if you are willing to participate in the potluck. Many activties for the children. Soccer and flag football games for all ages offered by PrepStar Professional coaches, face painting and bublles for the little ones. We will also be celebrating OCIF's winners of the SCMSCO table tennis tournament

Muslim On Screen: Is It getting Any Better?

OCIF and MPAC Special Family Night: "Muslims in Hollywood: Is it Getting Any Better?". Concerned about Hollywood portrayals of Islam and Muslims? You're not alone! Please join OCIF and the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC) for a special Family Night on Friday, November 13th at 6:30pm. We are planning to have a candid discussion with Muslims working in the industry as actors, talent managers, new media creators and directors. They'll share their own experiences about both challenges and progress they've seen in their work to tell more accurate and humanizing stories about Islam and Muslims and provide practical ways we can help make an impact on Hollywood too. Stay tuned for speakers line-up! Childcare and refreshments will be provided.
