Partnering with MakeSpace, we offer another workshop to introduce art lovers to the sacred script. This is a nine hour workshop over the course of three evenings. Materials are included in the registration price.

Join our visiting artist, Hoja Khalid Casado, a classically-trained master Hattat from Madrid, Spain as he introduces the art of Arabic calligraphy through the traditional method used in the Turkish school of calligraphy. Students will become familiar with traditional materials used in Islamic calligraphy and learn how to work with the reed pen. External Event Url
