Dar-ul-Hijra Islamic Centre (DHIC) is project of Canadian Muslim Heritage Association (CMHA) which is a non-profit,federally regsitered charity organization. Since its inception in 2007, the DHIC centre has been gradually increasing the services it offers to the Greater Toronto Area and its surroundings. Although, we are relatively new organization, by the grace of Allah the centre was blessed to receive tremendous and profound moral and material support from the community as well as our hard-working volunteers. Dar-ul-Hijra is also proud to have prominent members who volunteered their expertise to provide leadership and direction to the centre. These dedicated volunteers are well known in the Muslim community at large and have established their commitment to charitable services and leadership. Five daily prayers including juma prayers Youth activities such as karate, basketball and study circles.

DHIC Fundraising Dinner 2018 at ISNA Canada

As-salamualikum Brothers and Sisters, We are cordially inviting the entire community within and around the GTA to our Fundraising Dinner which we will be hosting at ISNA Canada on Saturday March 10th 4:30-9pm. We are in need of support to begin our Reconstruction Project for the design of the new Masjid. We have got all of the necessary documents and permits from the Municipality to begin construction. We ask that Allah facilitates you all to contribute to this initiative. May Allah succeed and increase you all!

Annual Fundraiser Dinner hosted by DHIC at ISNA Canada

Asalamualykum Warahmatullahi Wabrakatu, we greet you with the greetings of the people of Jannah: As you all may know already, with the help and great efforts of the community, the property in which Masjid Dar-Ul Hijra sits on has been offically paid off as of 2014 walilahi hamd! Now that we have begun the Renovations and Restoration project which will average at a cost of $9 million; it is a task that truly needs the help of all of us once again. For now the most immediate costs that need to be covered is to restore the roofing of the building which is deteriorating causing leakage into the musalah. This fundraiser is being held in an effort to continue the maintenance of the Mosque. With so many pledges from Ramadan 2016 and with previous pledgers we want to give you all an oppotunity to pay of your generous sadaqah. The dinner is absolutely free but let us all come with the intentions of giving sadaqah. Uthman ibn Affan reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, then Allah will build for him a similar house in Paradise.” Source: Sahih Bukhari 439, Sahih Muslim 533 May Allah reward all of your efforts and bless you immensly.
