0.0000Auburn International Friendship Picnic
The following event is open to all. Auburn International Friendship Picnic Saturday, March 4 Davis Arboretum 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Celebrate international friends and neighbors from 80 countries who live in the Auburn area. Recent events have caused some of our international guests to feel less welcome than they did a month ago. We hope to change that by coming together for food, fun and friendship as the Auburn family. The picnic will be a warm demonstration of our Southern hospitality, and a commitment to honor and respect each other regardless of where we grew up or where we call home. Come meet a person from another country and be sure to tell them that you’re glad they are here. For more information please contact Len Vining in the Auburn University Graduate School, vinnilj@auburn.edu. This event is being jointly arranged by the following organizations: Auburn University Graduate School Auburn Islamic Center Church of the Highlands - Auburn Muslim Student Association Office of International Programs International Student Organization Iranian Student Association The event is open to all.
