Join us for an evening with Zaytuna College Provost Dr. Hatem Bazian as he delivers a talk on a critical section of his new book “Annotations on Race, Colonialism, Islamophobia, Islam, and Palestine,” dealing with the immigration crisis and the collapse of the post-colonial state. Dr. Bazian is co-Founder, Provost, and Professor at Zaytuna College, as well as Teaching Professor in the departments of Near Eastern and Ethnic Studies at the University of California, Berkeley. Along with his teaching and research, Dr. Bazian founded the Islamophobia Research and Documentation Project at UC Berkeley, and is on the board of several organizations. Dr. Bazian’s extensive research has culminated into multiple published books, with “Annotations” being his seventh and most recent work.
