The event will comprise of two parts, with the first addressing Islamophobia, hate speech and the media. Mehdi Hasan will deliver a keynote and participate in a diverse panel discussion.
The second part will be an awareness and fundraising session for the Rohingya People. The United Nations has declared the situation in Rohingya as one of the worst genocides in history and we are ready to answer the call in that region. The project for this fundraiser is a mobile health clinic that is serving remote secluded villages that do not have access to health care, and are vulnerable to attacks from locals and the army.
This is an open event to all communities and we highly encourage participation in what will be a very beneficial program.
Tickets are $35 before April 9 and $50 afterward.
