Various Muslim organizations in Calgary are teaming up to campaign for a blood donation drive on December 24th and January 1st:
- Islamic Relief Canada
- Muslim Association of Canada - Calgary
- IISC - Islamic Information Society of Calgary
- Calgary Islamic Centre
- Muslim Students' Association at the University of Calgary
- Abu Bakr Musallah

The Canadian Blood Services (CBS) is counting on the Muslim community to get blood donations on these 2 days, as they ususally have low turnouts during this time of the year.
