Although we are all blessed to practice one faith, there can be huge cultural and experience gaps between new Muslims and those who were born into families practicing Islam. Differences in language, learned behaviors and familiarity with practices can all create barriers to building meaningful relationships and can impede the creation of stronger bonds within the community. This talk will address some of these issues, as well as offer ideas for how we can better integrate new Muslims within pre-existing communities. A moderated Q&A will follow. External Event Url
