It's been a tough week.
Come find comfort with us as we seek comfort in God. Nothing brings hearts contentment like His Remembrance, and nothing brings Illumination like engaging in salawat of His Beloved.
If you're planning on fasting tomorrow, just drop us a line =).
This Thursday: warm, comforting chai provided =)
See you at 7:30pm as we begin, and continue after Maghrib until 9pm.
Meraj and Suphia
Weekly gathering for remembrance, meditation, dhikr and chanting will meet at our place Thursday night, at 7:30pm. Come join, participate, energize your soul, and clear your mind of the hustle of daily life.
We will begin with some Qur'an recitation, repetition of certain
adhkar and Divine names, salawat and poetry in praise of our Beloved Prophet (sallahualayhiwasallam), and dua for us, our community, and humanity. Bring yourself, bring a friend, but please don't forget your positive vibes :)

أَلَا بِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ تَطْمَئِنُّ الْقُلُوبُ
( Indeed, only with the remembrance of Allah do hearts find lasting peace)
Why dhikr, and why in a group?
"Remember me, I shall remember you." (2:152)
"O you who believe! Celebrate the praises of Allah, and do so often; and glorify Him morning and evening." (33:41-42)
Hadith: Ibn `Umar reported that the Prophet said: "When you pass by the gardens of Paradise, avail yourselves of them." The Companions asked: "What are the gardens of Paradise, O Messenger of Allah?" He replied: "The circles of dhikr. There are roaming angels of Allah who go about looking for the circles of dhikr, and when they find them they surround them closely." Tirmidhi External Event Url
