You are invited to our October Open House scheduled for October 29, 2017 at 2pm. We host an Open House the last Sunday of each month for 10 months out of the year February through November as a community outreach initiative called "10 Forward." We endeavor to engage the community, the inter-faith community as well as the Muslim community with themes targeted at community development and social reform while allowing the community to get a closer look at and a better understanding of Muslims and deen Al-Islam. We want the community to know we have concerns and interest similar to all other people in society and that we are here to contribute to the good health of society. The theme for this month's Open House is "We All Make America Great" - America's Changing Political Landscape. Imam Yahya Shabazz of Oakland California will be traveling here and is the keynote speaker. In shaa Allah he will deliver the Friday khutbah on October 27, 2017 at 1:30pm. We are also sponsoring a Qur'aanic Workshop on Saturday October 28, 2017 beginning at 11am along with our "Community Kitchen" and "Community Free Clinic" as a prelude to Sunday's Open House.
