After the founding of the organization, prayers were initially performed in various rented premises in Saalfelden. Today's building was acquired in 2000 with donations including land and rebuilt with the help of members and adapted. The approximately 8 m high minaret was completed in 2003. This was the second minarets in Austria after Vienna Islamic Centre (built 1975-1979 ) in the 21st district Floridsdorf and is one of the four minarets in Austria and the first Atib club with a minaret in front Telfs (2006 ) and Bad V?slau (2009 ).
