Asalaamu Alaikum, The Islamic Center of Pittsburgh is hosting a special Iftar for all of the brothers and sisters in our community who found the beautiful faith of Islam later in their life. Come out and hear the Stories of how people found Islam aong with listening to our Guest Speaker give advice to all of the New Muslims who will be attending.

Guest Speaker: Imam Qasim Curnutt was born in Columbia Missouri and was raised in Montgomery Alabama. He was first introduced to Islam at age 11 by a schoolmate and close friend from Afghanistan. This first encounter with Islam had a lasting effect and resurfaced when in His early 20s Imam Qasim became interested once again in Islam, which after a period of research he accepted. Since then he has dedicated his time to learning the religion and participating in the American Muslim Community. He currently resides in Morgantown Wv with his wife Saba Ashfaq and son Zayd where he is the Religious Coordinator for the Islamic Center of Morgantown. External Event Url
