In partnership with the American Red Cross, RCM volunteers will be working to install smoke and fire detectors in high risk fire neighborhoods (identified by the Marietta Fire Department). We will be meeting at Park Street Elementary School (105 Park Street SE, Marietta, GA 30060) at 8:30am and should finish by 2pm. All training and supplies will be provided by the American Red Cross. Minimum age to attend is 13 years old.

Schedule of events for the day:
8:30am-9:00am – Registration & light breakfast
9:00am-9:45am – Training (there are 4 positions on a team: Captain, Scribe, Installer, and Educator)
9:45-10:00am – Team formation (divide into teams of 4 people)
10am-12pm – Installs (approximately 1-3 alarms per house & upwards to 10 homes per group, 15 minute average per home visit)
12pm-1pm – Lunch
1pm-2:30/3pm – Remaining installs and wrap-up External Event Url
