QUMSA stands for the Queen's University Muslim Students' Association. We act as a focal point for Muslim students to meet for various acts of worship.

Our goals include:

◦providing a platform for the discussion of issues that are relevant to Muslims in the West

◦acting as an educational and spiritual resource (from surviving that first exam to dealing with the social stresses of a new environment)

◦increasing Islamic awareness while helping discredit a lot of misconceptions about Islam.

Charity Week 2016

Charity Week (CW) is a global initiative spearheaded by Islamic Relief that is dedicated to raising funds for orphans and needy children around the world. With a focus on unity, transparency, and accountability, all donations that we collect from this event go directly to those who need it; nothing goes for ‘administrative’ or any other fee. Last year this initiative raised a record $46,299 dollars in Canada alone (and $1,393,328 worldwide!), with every dollar going through the Child Welfare Fund. This year we wish to break that record by participating in the annual university-wide charity initiative. We need your help. Yes, we have high aspirations, and with your support we can reach, and perhaps even surpass, them! TO DONATE ONLINE: https://www.launchgood.com/project/queens_msa#/
