Open House | Nueces Mosque
We are excited to invite you all to our annual Open House! Come learn more about the Muslim community and Nueces Mosque, the first mosque in Austin, as well as one of the few student-run mosques in the country.
This year's theme is "Social Justice in Islam". Our esteemed set of speakers will share how Islam revolutionized society at its conception in 6th century Arabia, how the prophetic model strives for social welfare, and Islam in the modern political landscape. We will have a Q&A where anyone can tap into the pool of knowledge our speakers bring.
We will have tours of the mosque, free personalized Arabic calligraphy, henna, and finish off with a delicious dinner open to all! We can't wait to see you all there! External Event Url
