DAY OF DIGNITY -- NEWARK, NJ

Islamic Relief presents the DAY OF DIGNITY (NEWARK, NJ) on Saturday October 31, 2015 from 10AM - 4PM (or until supplies run out).
This event hosted by the NIA Masjid & Community Center, in collaboration with the City of Newark, The Building Blocks NJ, and American Muslims for Hunger Relief will serve 1000 residents of Essex County, Inshallah!
A full scope of the event will include distribution of:
- Winter clothing items
- Hygiene kits
- Hot meals
- Non-perishable food items
- School supplies
Services provided to include:
- Medial/dental/eye exams
- Haircuts for Children
- Information on: Domestic Violence, Substance Abuse, Affordable housing, Job Training, Healthcare Enrollment etc.
- Carnival attractions for children as entertainment.
If your agency/organization/community center would like to be part of this BIG day, please let us know how you can assist. We are look for volunteers in all areas of medical and social services.
