Petals From the Prophet (PBUH)
We will spend the morning distributing flowers to students around campus. These flowers will have a Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad(PBUH) attached to them with the intention of spreading a peaceful message across campus. This will be a great interactive experience with other students on campus. Our guest speaker will be none other than Hasan Shibly, who "has appeared numerous times in both local and national media outlets including NPR, Voice of America, the New York Times, the Toronto Star and the Buffalo News for his work protecting civil liberties and promoting understanding of the Muslim faith".
Prophet Muhammed PBUH was the last Prophet sent by Allah (God), and Allah revealed upon Mohammed PBUH the Quran that always reminds us to spread Islam, be nice to our neighbors and be kind to all. This event will showcase the true Islam, and for that we hope to see many of you there!
