In Spite Of

A story of two families: One agonizes over a mother's abuse and neglect of her children, while the other struggles with the effects of negative articles about their performing arts school, written by a glory seeking, unethical, reporter looking to make a name for herself by forcing it to close. Watch as these families find healing, support, and ultimately victory as they find strength in each other. Come laugh, be moved, and entertained by a performance you won't soon forget!

Towards the Beloved Community Townhall

Join CAIR-Chicago and the Catholic Theological Union in a community town-hall discussing how, in today's divisive political climate, the bonds between ethnicites, race, gender and religion are being challenged. We, as a community, are witnessing the presence of policies fueled by seperation, racial tensions and intolerance. Hate and fear as a foundation for policies do not exist in a vacuum. The foundations of these sentiments can be found within our own communities. How do we confront the challenges of privilege, push back on demographic change and the deliberate inclusion of diversity? Join us for a honest panel discussion on how we, as a collective community, respond to these challenges in order to create the "Beloved Community" we have the potential to become.
