Islam and The Modern Worldview - a lecture series by MIT MSA
We are excited to announce “NEGOTIATING PARADIGMS: ISLAM AND THE MODERN WORLDVIEW,” an MIT MSA Lecture Series by Prof. Sharif El-Tobgui (Brandeis). Sessions will be held every other Saturday, insha’Allah, starting Sept. 17.
Over the course of seven sessions, we will read and discuss the book "A Young Muslim’s Guide to the Modern World" by Seyyed Hossein Nasr. You can get the Kindle version of the book for just $4.00 on Amazon.
For the first session, The Islamic Worldview: Laying the Foundations, please read the first two chapters of the book and come prepared for a discussion.
