Roots of The American Muslim
Join us at MIC on Friday, April 21st at 7PM for a class entitled "Roots of The American Muslim" taught by Drost Kokoye! This will be a workshop style event with some lecturing on the origins of Islam and first Muslims in America as well as the largest Muslim group in America.
Sr. Drost will then build up to discussing how American Muslims built the community we have now. Some parts of the class will also be interactive, and allow people to trace their own lineages and see at which stage of American history their ancestors entered the picture!
Tickets are $5 online, and $10 at the door!
