The White Helmets Film Screening
Recently put on the October cover of Time Magazine, The White Helmets is a Netflix original short documentary, set in Aleppo, Syria and Turkey in early 2016. Mosque open house - Building Bridges of Understanding + Blood drive
Memphis Islamic Center and other Memphis-area mosques will be hosting an "Open House" event as part of Muslims in Memphis on Saturday, Mar 5th from 11am to 4pm. Also, there will be a Blood Drive onsite from 10 AM - 4 PM to help local Memphians in need of transfusion. Please invite non-Muslim neighbors, friends and coworker to get a first hand look at a Muslim places of worship and get acquainted with our belief, customs and practices. From Prison Guard to Islam | An Inspirational Night of Knowledge, Experience and Activism with Br. Terry Holdbrooks (ex-Gitmo Prison Guard)
Join brother Terry Holdbrooks, a former a U.S. Army veteran stationed in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, who will be here to share his experiences that led him to accept Islam. Sh.
