Many, if not the majority of, Muslims today live in multi-faith and multi-cultural societies. Despite what the media is sometimes trying to make us believe, in most cases this coexistence works pretty well, and Muslims and Non-Muslims live peacefully side by side. However, sometimes there are frictions, disagreement, even hate and violence. Muslims are encouraged to follow the example of the Prophet Muhammed (Peace be upon him). What did inter-faith relations look like under his rule in the early days of Islam? How did he treat Non-Muslims and what can we learn from the Prophetic example? This Interfaith Week, join us for this talk by Warwick alumni Sheikh Arsalan Ahmed.
