MCC: Celebrating 40 Years of Service

In November, 1976, a small group of local Muslims came together to establish the Muslim Community Center (MCC). As one of the first mosques in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, MCC played a vital role in the growth of the local Muslim community. Through the years, MCC has grown into a local institution that serves as a hub for Islamic knowledge, education, service, and community. With programs aimed at every segment of the community - children, teens, young professionals, seniors, mothers, and more – and with a diverse community of over 80 different nationalities, the Muslim Community Center has truly lived up to its early mantra – “MCC: The Place to Be.” MCC will be celebrating 40 years of dedicated service to the Washington metropolitan area community. We invite you to join us for a community celebration as we look back at our vibrant history, reflect on our growth, and move together into the future. We will be joined by numerous guests from the local government, partnering organizations, neighboring faith communities, and within the community, therefore your RSVP is requested to reserve your space at the event. Please RSVP by November 9, 2016 by visiting the following link: http://bit.ly/2dFdGzh.
