Zahra Billoo | Executive Director at CAIR-SFBA
As the executive director of CAIR San Francisco Bay Area (CAIR-SFBA), Zahra strives to promote justice and mutual understanding. Zahra joined CAIR-SFBA in 2009, and immediately embraced her roles as community organizer and civil rights advocate. She frequently provides trainings at mosques and universities as part of CAIR’s efforts to empower the community, while building bridges with allies on civil rights issues. Zahra also represents victims of discrimination and advocates for policy changes that uphold civil rights for all.

Heba Haddad | Therapist at Khalil Center
Heba has received her undergraduate degree from UC Irvine in Psychology of Social Science and later earned a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. She worked at OMID Multicultural Institute for Development, a mental health institute for 3 years, where she completed her clinical hours and gained a variety of experience working with the Muslim population coming from many different ethnicities and backgrounds. Simultaneously, she worked at the Anaheim Family Justice Center through New Star Family Center in Anaheim with law enforcement, counseling victims of domestic violence and abuse. She also served as a therapist for ICNA’s first Transitional home and shelter for Muslim women in Southern California. Heba has previously worked with pioneering community organizations such as Islamic Relief USA and Access California Services. Heba currently provides Pre-Marital Counseling services in Northern California where she resides and is an affiliate of the Stanford Muslim Mental Health Department.
