Have you ever thought about how blessed you are? Have you ever thanked Allah for all that He has given you, and all the opportunities in your life that you can't imagine ever being without? Have you thought about those who don't share your fortune? Ever wonder what it's like to not have a home to go to? To beg people for any kind of help: spare change, a sandwich, a prayer?

Join us for a thought-provoking presentation and discussion about the issue of homelessness and poverty, and also have a chance to meet and hear from someone who has experienced homelessness.

After the one-hour workshop, we will drop off of donated coats, boots, and socks to local homeless camps in Downtown San Jose (11:15 a.m. to 1 p.m.).

If you would like to come only for the workshop, you do not need to register. If you would like to ride with a mentor to visit the homeless camps, please register and download the waiver at:
