Assalamu Alaykum / Peace be upon you

We're all in this together. Let's serve the under-served.

The Seattle streets can be cold, wet, and unforgiving. Every year, we initiate a day of coming together to aid those who are homeless in our community with various free services and plenty of goods to bring a little more comfort and care into their lives.

We see this as a day of service to the under-served, and this year's event will take place on Veterans Day, where many homeless Vets will be on the receiving end.

Seattle's homeless rate is at 11,600 and rising.

Every year, we survey beneficiaries to find out exactly what their preferences and needs are.

For distribution this year: rain ponchos, first aid kids, school kits (for various ages), flashlights, hoodies, thermal under-garments, beanies, underwear, socks, gloves, various toiletries, cell phones w/ service, tumblers/re-usable water bottles, warm meal, snacks, and more..

Services: hair cuts, dental care, medical screenings (includes BMI, glucose reading, blood pressure reading, and health counseling), flu shots, acupuncture, physical therapy, resume building/tips, Feldenkrais awareness through movement, Medicare and Medicaid sign up, and more..
