Art & Tea: Islamic Geometric Patterns
MAPS-MCOC is pleased to announce the first in a series of single-day art & tea workshops with local artist Amina Quraishi.
Join us on March 10th and learn to draw Islamic geometric patterns and enjoy some afternoon tea with great company. This workshop will include a geometric patterns booklet with detailed instructions accompanied by all materials (including watercolor paints) required for the class and your finished artwork!
The workshop will be held in the Muslim Association of Puget Sound Conference Room and spots will be limited to 15 participants. The all-inclusive fee of $65 will include all supplies necessary for the workshop so be sure to register at tinyurl.com/art-tea1.
About the Artist:
Amina Quraishi is a local artist who completed her bachelors at the University of Toronto in Fine Arts & Art History. Her passion lies in traditional arts and architecture of the Islamic Lands. You can see her work on Instagram under the handle: @Amina.Quraishi
