Sandwich Making for the Food Bank!
Salaam ladies! It is time for sandwich making at Girls Youth Group! We will be making sandwiches for a local food bank on Thursday, August 18th at 7 pm. Please note the time change. Youth group will be meeting at 7 instead of 8 for this week. Bring your sandwich making skills to help out in this great cause! All girls ages 12 + are encouraged to come!

Girls Youth Group Picnic!
Salaam ladies! The Girls Youth Group will be having another kick-off event to start off the new year of youth group! This kick-off event will take place on Sunday, July 24th at North Lynnwood Park (aka Dragon Park) from 1:00 - 6 pm and will be a picnic. We will have pizza, pasta, chips, sandwiches, dessert, and drinks. Feel free to bring a dish to share if you would like! At the picnic, we will discuss our plans for the next year of youth group, as well as play some active games! InshAllah hope to see you all there and feel free to bring a friend!

Spring Cleaning for the Masjid
Salaam ladies! Girls youth group will be doing a Spring Cleaning event for the masjid before Ramadhan begins! Please come through to help us out with kitchen cleaning and organizing in all the rooms. We need as much help as we can get! Hopefully you all are available because Monday, May 30th is Memorial Day :) Plan to spend about 2.5 hours at the masjid helping out. Winter Care Packages
Salaam ladies! Girls youth group will be hosting a winter care packages event where we will be making packages for the Homeless in Lynnwood. Included in the packages are items like gloves, socks, shampoo, toothbrushes, etc. Come join us in this great cause! It will be on Thursday, December 24th, during regular youth group time. Girls Youth Group Gym Day!
Salaam girls! Youth group will be having a gym day where we can become active and play some basketball or any other sport that you want! The event starts at 2:30 pm and the gym is reserved until 5:30pm. If you are able to, please bring any sports equipment that you want like basketballs or badminton rackets, etc. We will be bringing prayer rugs, so no need to worry about that! Sandwich Making for Hopelink Foodbank
The girls youth group will be making sandwiches on Tuesday, October 13th at 7 pm at Masjid Umar al-Farooq. We are going to try and make about 75 sandwiches. These sandwiches will then be given to the Shoreline Foodbank at Hopelink the next morning. Please come join us for this great opportunity to help families in need and in giving back to the community. May Allah reward our efforts. We hope to see you all there inshAllah!
